MMmm, left footed punter might cause more fumbles. Any way to know his hang time and distance average?

You need to check out Bruce Carter NC LB. Dude is good.
Also the Pouncey twins from Florida and I will be very interested in Charles Brown USC OT at the Combine. If he is around 300 lbs he could be perfect for the ZB scheme. He looks very athletic and could be a good mid round pick up. Last edited by mussop; 12-27-2009 at 05:36 AM. |

I mean, I'm not scout, but I am a Georgia Tech fan and have watched a lot of Derrick Morgan, and he is not a LB. He's a classic DE and reminds me a lot of Freeney in the way he plays. The idea of him playing LB is silly to me and almost absurd. |

Nice work PK, keep it up. Only a little over 4 months till the Draft and we find out for sure who we will get.
Since NFL Draft Scout went bye bye, I don't really have a good draft source anymore.

Outside linebacker (weak side, away from the tight end): "He's the rusher, he's the speed guy. Has to be good enough in the rush to beat tackles one-on-one enough to make plays and always beat any backs who try to block him." What about him makes yo think he couldnt do this? |

Again, I'm no scout, so I could be off base here. And, it only takes one team with a crazy idea (i.e. Orakpo at SLB in Washington.) But, Morgan plays DE at Georgia Tech, is a heavy 280lbs., and plays his position well. Not only do I not see a reason for him to play LB, I don't see a fit. Like I've said, we'll have to wait for scout's opinions to come out on the issue for a more definitive answer, but simply by watching him play, he seems a lot more like a Freeney to me than a Merriman. I'm still curious where this idea came from in the first place. |

I'd like to keep an eye on Rutgers' Devin McCourty 5' 11" 190lbs as a player who may be moved to FS like Jarius Byrd. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/563691 Also, put me down for Robert Johnson 6' 2" 195lbs Utah. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1255571

Last year we drafted DB's Glover Quinn, Brice McCain, and Troy Nolan. I think they were all in the same conference, weren't they?
Anyway, I don't know if they will declare for the draft early or not, but I really like these two guys from the ACC.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmWJb...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpAk1...eature=related Dowling plays for UVa and McDaniel is from Clemson.
