Just checked the 506.com.....Can someone explain the madness to me as to why our late game on Fox is the Eagles against the Raiders? With the Saints and the Giants as an option, and obviously more regional interest, you know, with LA being our neighbors, what jacka$$ decided we needed to watch the Eagles drum Oakland?
Just curious as to why they don't want to draw in Houston. I would assume that I am not in the minority of opinion that NO v NYG would be a much better draw.... Confused. |

Never mind. I should have looked at the whole thing......The Saints v Giants are an early game, and they won't play that against the home team game. |

Essentially the Fox affiliate decided it would rather telecast the late game instead of going head-to-head against the Texans broadcast. That's actually a good sign since the NYG/NO game would certainly draw a bigger tv audience but the Fox affiliate apparently believes the Texans are a big enough draw that the less attractive PHI/OAK game will actually draw more viewers.
It means the Texans are embedded in their community. |
