Default Angry Dre's 2nd TD vs. Cardinals

His second touchdown, the one where he bounces off a linebacker then fights off two more Cardinal would-be tacklers, is an amazing highlight. Anyone seen it on the interwebs yet?

Watching defenders bounce off of Andre is a little reminiscent of Earl bullying his way through a defense. Dre has made many highlight reel-ready plays during his career as a Texan, but that one's going to be a memorable one for me.

It's a shame he may play his entire career for a team that's not worth a damn.

I agree.

In my more than 40 years of watching pro football, i do not remember a more powerful run after the catch by a WR in my life. Only Earl made multiply bodies fly like that.

It was one of the few moments in my Texans fandom that made me completely proud to be a fan of the team. That guy is something else.

I feel as though every other team in the league, except the Cowboys, would know how to maximize Andre's potential.

Right now he is using his pure talent to be a star. He should have way more TD at this point in his career than he does. All because we have a coach who is stickin' with the run, NO MATTER WHAT.

Imagine this guy in the playoffs...

Larry who?

It was sweet. Reminds me of the game against the Bills years ago where he knocked off two defenders for a TD. Here's the video against the Cards.

Here's another low-def version on YouTube without the nfl.com ads:

Brings up an issue the Texans may have to deal with if we have another season at about .500. AJ has stated the one thing he's most interested in at this point in his career is getting to the Super-Bowl. Therefor if this season ends up where it looks like its going, wonder if he could make some noise about being traded to a contender in this upcoming offseason and would the Texans accomadate him ?

When I saw that LB go flying, I immediately thought of the clip with Earl Campbell and Michael Downs. What impressed me more is that afterwards he fought off one other tackler and twisted his way into the end zone.

I was busy watching playoff baseball held in 26-degree weather to notice if it had made any Top 10 lists but it was clearly the top play of the day if you ask me. If AJ ever gets into the Hall, they should show that clip repeatedly.

I was out of my seat yelling, "Go Andre!!!" There were a couple of fist pumps in there too. That was awesome.

Ande's catch and TD were the highlight of an otherwise not very illuminating afternoon for me. In the Johnson/Fitzgerald hoorah, he more than held his own.
