Default Favre Fined $10K For Block On Wilson

http://sports.myway.com/news/09042009/v6433.html

I'm glad to see it, but $10K is a drop in the bucket for Favre. He got a wrist-slap, basically.

He's probably got that laying around in some old Wrangler jeans pockets.

"What was up with that? Seriously, what is up with that?"

...that's already my go to quote for the season. Thanks Eugene Wilson.

Just the NFL protecting their future Hall of Shame,......errrr Famer! Favre didn't even have the grace to call Wilson and apologize. I gues he thought it would be beneath him.

Favre went low so he himself wouldn't get hurt, to heck with what he did to the other player!!!

The guy's a piece of $h!t, plain and simple. As much as I loved him growing up, there's just no other conclusion I can come to at this point. Had the roles been reversed, with eugene throwing a block like that on no. 4, and we're looking at a heftier fine and a suspension, for sure.
