So Cherry Pick time

1st Sean Weatherspoon OLB 6'1" 232 Missouri Roy, we both like this guy as our new WILL in 2010.
2nd LeGarrette Blount RB 6'2" 235 Oregon
3rd Keiland Williams RB 6'0" 226 LSU
4th Dan Williams DT 6'3" 312 Tennessee
5th A.J. Trump OC 6'3" 300 Miami
6th Tony Pike QB 6'6" 225 Cincinnati
7th Zoltan Mesko P 6'4" 242 Michigan
Thought I try a new cherry pick after the spring practices.

1st Myron Lewis CB 6'2" 200 Vanderbilt
2nd Vince Oghobaase DT 6'6" 312 Duke former local HS player
3rd Chris Brown RB 5'11" 206 Oklahoma
4th Dan Williams Kellen Heard DT 6'6" 330 Texas A&M
5th Andrew Sendejo CB 6'2" 210 Rice
6th Boo Robinson DT 6'2" 326 Wake Forest
7th Blaze Soares ILB 6'1" 230 Hawaii

In 2010 Frank Bush and Ast HC Defense Bill Kollar develop a new defense designed to stop the run.

M.Williams, A.Smith, K.Heard, V Oghobaase, A.Okoye, C. Barwin

B Cushing, D.Ryans,

M Lewis, G Quinn, A Molden

A 6-2-3

The front line is anchored by 2 mammoth NT and 2 quick DTs, with 2 explosive DEs. It is designed to put 4 players in the back field on every play. All pass receivers are covered with a pressed man to man, with the idea that no will be allowed off the line.

Defense is considered the best new defense since the 3-4 was devised.

Don't you hate the off season.

Walters Updated again, not that these mean anything, but again it's slow, and the college season will be starting soon. I am getting tired of watching Big 10 reruns from last season.

Here's is Walter's Latest update: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 - Major Updates

Quote:
24. Houston Texans: Reshad Jones, FS, Georgia
With Malcolm Jenkins gone, the Texans weren't in position to take a top-tier safety in the 2009 NFL Draft. With that in mind, they may look for one in the 2010 NFL Draft, where there potentially could be four safeties chosen in the first round (Eric Berry, Taylor Mays, Reshad Jones, Earl Thomas).

Pick change; previously Earl Thomas, FS

55. Houston Texans: Mike Johnson, G, Alabama
The Texans don't have many needs, but one area that they'll need to address soon is the interior of their offensive line.

87. Houston Texans: Ekom Udofia, DT, Stanford
The Texans really could use a nose tackle next to Amobi Okoye to help out against the run.
Not a bad mock:

Let's try to find a RG, RB, NT, WLB, CB, FS, and SS and I will be happy. It is way too early to try to figure out who will be available in which round.

Distilling that down, I would be happy with a NT and a couple of safeties, the rest would be icing on the cake, at least right now anyway.
