T. Knighton - Ouch. We're going to need a BIG RB now.

Niners just took Glen Coffee.... and the RB pool gets a little more shallow.

It's gonna be a long wait to the 4th round if the Texans don't grab an RB here.

But man, Chip Vaughn is enticing, too.

If Jerry keeps his hands off my Chip, I'll wait until the 4th for a RB.

Whew! I liked Brewster until he ran. However, I didn't imagine he'd be drafted before Duke Robinson.

A Bama guy, I am happy though Brown would have been nice.

This is why I didn't want to do a 7 round mock draft. Right now it's like a freakin' free for all. I was thinking about adding Levy to my UDFA list.

I was sure it would be a RB or S....but I like the Caldwell pick. Could we trading back into the third for the S or RB....or will they wait it out?

Wow, I didn't think we'd be this high on Caldwell considering his Combine. In fact, I dropped him to the bottom of the 4th round because of it. Still no RB or SS or CB.

The Texans obviously don't feel RB or S is as big a priority as we do. I'm getting really concerned about having a decent young backup for Slaton. I hope there's an RB in the 4th.

Maybe Connor Barwin can run the football this year.

I'm hoping peerman falls to us in the 4th and then we can pick up the best DB on the board w/ our other 4th

not necessarily...they may just have rated the players available differently than we do, or not have the tunnel vision we might have a case of. they could really like someone they think they can get later. IMO every pick has a chance to contribute early. Cush and Caldwell could both start...with barwin playing a huge role on third down.

We may find out that other teams don't love Vaughn and Brown as much as we do. I'm noticing Sidbury is still available and also Marcus Freeman. Shawn Nelson is still there along with Duke Robinson and Jamon Meredith. There's a lot of "value" still there while players with "6th round grades" are being drafted left and right.

Just like Jim Mora Sr. said, "you think you know....but you just don't know."

I'm hoping we can still get Vaughn and Brown.

Well, that and we continually seem to overrate the needs at safety versus how the Texans seem to rate those needs. Outside of re-signing Eugene Wilson this offseason, a lot of their moves at both safety positions have left me looking like --->

Lot of quality tight ends still available, might be the best value there, but I would like to see them take a RB or S. Give me Rashad Johnson, I wanted McBath but too bad.

The Bucs select one of my guys. Roy Miller climbed up to the 3rd round. I was drafting him in the 6th round a couple of weeks ago and moved him up to the 4th round, just to be "sure" I'd be able to get him.

Derrick Williams over Iglesias? Hmm, do they know he ran a 4.67?
