Not to derail this thread, but we do have some really nice guys on this team, I hope it translates with this new staff to wins, and I think it will. Part of being a team is getting along with each other, not being an individual and being accountable to one another (among many other things)

You don't need thugs and hoodlums to win games.

I literally bumped into Fred Weary last weekend at a Kroger. He could not have been more cordial and friendly. We chatted a few minutes about his injury, football and BBQ techniques.

I want Schaub to be able to move around in the pocket a little better, to draw a little extra time when the WR hasn't finished his route, or he has to make an extra read, and the defense is closing in.

if players know that all most people are going to want is a hello and a handshake (maybe an autograph or a picture too ) then it's probably easier to deal with. personally, if i played a game for a living i would consider this my "work". i'm not saying a weirdo doesn't come along now and then but i think most football fans know not to make a big scene if you see a player out in public.

It's worth saying again: if the offense line blocks for the run better, and if the defensive line protects better against the run, the rest of the game will fall into place pretty easily. Easy to say but much harder to execute.
