I don't think anyone is going to break the bank for DA, but depending on what other plans Smith had it might not have to be that big a deal to make us back off. I just don't see why they wouldn't have ponied up another 500K to make sure they don't have to spend a couple more million to keep him around because there's no way a team risk a 2nd for him.

Considering I already consider him my #3 WR, and Jacoby could be on the way out, I don't think a 7th round pick is enough compensation. If we lost DA then the one position were we could get by without making any moves suddenly becomes a need.
