Not a lot of positives in that one. Worse, seemed like the team had a lot of quit in them today, too. Players gotta make plays, but that game is the kind of exhibit of what gets head coaches fired.

O'Brien spent the entire camp with Savage entrenched as the starter only to bench him by halftime of game 1. If you believe in the guy throughout camp, you shouldn't bench him after 30 minutes. If you didn't believe in him, then why not do more in July and August to prepare Watson?

Had this been the first time O'Brien looked lost picking a QB by halftime of Week 1... but it isn't the first time.

Aside from bad head coaching, the Texans are in trouble this week for tight ends. Short week and the availability of C.J. and Griffin doesn't look good. And of course the OL (albeit missing LT Duane Brown) was even worse than expected... and no one expected much. Ellington went down and yet neither QB looked Braxton Miller's direction in spite of being open often.

Kevin Johnson looked like he hadn't played in 11 months. Jags OL seemed to punch the DL in the gut all game long. ILBs overmatched. Not good.
