I'm optimistic that he will get back the same level of athletic ability as he had before. I just doubt it will happen before next year. Players recovering from just an ACL have a tendency for nine months to return to the field, but an extra three or four months to hit full speed. Toss in the hammy and I would be surprised if he was the Dunta of old this year. That said, I'd approach the offseason with the assumption that I had the real deal Dunta for next year.
