A #3 quarterback is more like a placeholder. But he does go through the weekly study and prep work so perhaps he can be of use to the other QBs in that regard. FWIW, Beck had his chance with the Dolphins and I think it told us all we need to know. Decent skills but nothing more than a game manager which is pretty much all you are hoping for in that spot.
