It seems over the last few years the Texan management is not very good and A. trading picks or B. amassing additional picks. I am not sure the reason. Other teams seem to perpetually have additional picks coming from trades while we just let players go to find their own place to play.
For teams to acquire picks..other teams have to give them up. I'm not complaining about Cushing, Barwin, and Brown. The Texans did have an additional pick last draft and got an extra sixth this season. I think if the Texans didn't have holes, it would be easier for them to take the New England approach.

I think by not having two starting CBs going into this draft put them in a position of pressure. I am hopeful that after this draft, the Texans won't have a glowing need.
