This whole Draft process has gotten so complex and sophisticated that it's well know that teams often fake an interest in certain players as a red herring to divert attention from the player(s) the team is actually most interested in picking.
I don't know if I buy into that theory. There might be a time or two when a team will do something deceptive, but I think the idea is generally overblown. If anything, I'd think the interview was just to build a profile for Coleman for the Texans' pro-scouting department. I find it hard to believe he's a target for the draft, though.
