I use to say I would rather the team lose a game like they did against the Colts on MNF or the Giants game in Reliant, in other words get blown out, than the way they lost yesterday in NY. Now I know I don't feel that way, because there's no doubt the effort was there yesterday where it's absent in the other situation, even though a loss like yesterday is far more heartbreakeing.
This is very, very small consolation this morning and I mean this in no way as a claim of some kind of a morale victory which is of no value to us and our team at this point in its existance, but some guys made some plays yesterday. We had some strong individual performances, just as we had some
disastouras breakdowns including one or 2 that cost us a football game.
But honestly I'm still not sure that the problem with our defense has been Richard Smith & Frank Bush or the personnel decisions the Texans have made about who to draft (and to a lesser extent to acquire thru FA) and put on the field ?

Thanks for the kind words, man. Appreciate it. Believe it, wasn't just yesterday. Just the accumulation of everything. I'm also a Suns/Sabres/Braves fan, accumulation of ridiculousness over the years.
I agree, I'd rather get blown out than losing the way we did yesterday. That makes it three straight weeks we lose on absolute absurdity.
We played well, at least we weren't "complete" no-shows in the first half. Defense played better, at least the front seven. The secondary was just bad as always. I really think its a personnel problem there.
It's just a mess. Really sad too. That said, we're only 2 games out of the division. We're not going to win it, but at least it might be compelling going down to that last Jaguars game in Week 17. I guess that's the best to hope for now.
