For the first time in a few years, I'm working on Sunday afternoons so I can't comment until that night or the next day. The browser will let me read your comments at work but won't let me reply

The early game looked like the same Texan nightmare we see in our sleep - pass interference on Kareem, offensive holding on everyone, extending their drives and killing ours. Now we add the deep ball drop by Jacoby Jones, er, I mean Will Fuller.

Sucks that Cushing is hurt yet again (and will probably be joining Duane Brown on the waiver wire next spring for cap reasons). But the pass rush does look sweet when we get J.J., Clowney and Mercilus on the field at the same time. I could see the Bears didn't know who to double-team.

Ozzie's corkscrew delivery looked scary. Seemed to put the ball right on the money though - just with no touch. Good thing Beanie and Cecil (aka Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts III) aren't around to drop those passes, leaving more for our TEs and Fuller to drop.

But the Bears are sort of like the NFC's version of the Bills - a team you ought to beat if you don't beat yourself and that's eventually what happened.

1-0 and alone in first (thanks, NFC North) is just the right way to start the season. Now to get our revenge on the Chiefs.
