I just don't understand why an owner would want to put his product up against the single-most anticipated in-state rival college football game in the football-crazy state of Texas.
He hurts his fans.

Head to head, the Texans would get smoked. I don't know how married the Horns and Aggies are to Thanksgiving night though. I know the Austin fans hated those 10 a.m. Friday start times (which made no sense) but I worry about drunk driving at night between Austin and College Station (or vice versa). A lot of drinking goes on at that game and the campuses are a tempting few hours difference which is just enough to dismiss how badly a drunk driver can mess up a lot of lives on a state highway with no divider. At least in the daytime, you have a fair chance to take evasive action.
