I count 4 to go.

What's missing?

Bullock and Sonny Harris were already IR'd to get to 75....correct?

Shiloh is hanging in there ? I like his hustle, but what else is there ?
Apparently Wade sees something ? Tyler Clutts - great football name.

Lance Zierlein ‏@LanceZierlein

Texans cut LT Nathan Menkin (#77) & they better hope that a team looking to stash a young talent doesn't pick him up. Outstanding quickness

I'm thinking that Keo is in these next two cuts...

Berman -

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - In need of adding a fullback to the roster, the Houston Texans traded cornerback Sherrick McManis to the Chicago Bears for Tyler Clutts.

In 2011, Clutts only season in the NFL, he played in 16 games for the Bears, starting eight.

He didn't have any carries last year, but caught eight passes for 48 yards.

Before signing as a free agent with Chicago, he spent time on the Cleveland Browns practice squad in 2010 and 2011.

Prior to that Clutts was in the CFL (2008-09), UFL (2011) and the AFL (2011).

McMannis was the Texans' fifth round pick in 2010.

He played in 23 games for Houston, nine last season with no starts.

McManis had his only career interception two years ago.

The Texans also released 19 players on Friday:

TE Logan Brock

DE Keith Browner

OLB D.J. Bryant

NT Hebron Fangupo

RB Jonathan Grimes

NT David Hunter

WR Juaquin Iglesias

OLB Delano Johnson

QB Case Keenum

DE Mitch King

OT Nathan Menkin

ILB Shawn Loiseau

WR Jeff Maehl

OLB Rennie Moore

FB Moran Norris

SS Eddie Pleasant

TE Phillip Supernaw

C Cody Wallace

G Cody White

The Texans still have three more moves to make, along with establishing a practice squad.

Actually, only 2 more moves due to Butler going to IR.

Also about the big plays against him last night. Remember that Wade was in base defenses looking to see what he guys can and can not do well. Well we now know that Keo is not strong in single deep safety coverage.

Keo over Nolan.......

Don't get it, but whatever.

Wouldn't be surprised at a little more churn at the bottom.

I'm surprised they cut Nolan. Best of luck to him.

Keo, better step up.

I can only gues that special teams determined it. Or they have really started to like Demps. I thought Nolan had really turned into a pretty good player.

Smith got waived. Look for a claim today.

Keenum, Grimes, and Pleasant headline PS.

Keenum, Grimes, Hunter, Delano Johnson, Supernaw, Pleasant and Maehl #Texans #practicesquad -- P.D. Starr (@PHABMK6)

Nolan picked up by Fins.

Signed Ryan Harris, OT, from Denver. Makes sense. Hope he doesn't have to play.....

I found this list for PSt. I guess potential for more claims and changes exist for PS and 53 man roster..

Practice Squad Case Keenum, Quarterback Jonathan Grimes, Runningback David Hunter, Defensive End Delano Johnson, Outside Linebacker Phillip Supernaw, Tight End Eddie Pleasant, Safety Jeff Maehl, Wide Receiver Also Shelley Smith was waived from the 53 man roster to make room for another signing in the coming days.

I thought it was interesting comparing pplayers by position from this year to last year.
From Texans web-site found:
Texans roster by position: 2012 total (2011 total)
QB: 3 (3)
RB: 3 (4)
FB: 2 (2)
WR: 6 (4)
TE: 2 (3)
OL: 9 (9)
DL: 6 (6)
LB: 9 (8)
DB: 10 (11)
K: 1 (1)
P: 1 (1)
LS: 1 (1)

Boy was I wrong about this one, I don't get Keo over Nolan. But sometimes we don't see the blown assignments.
