I like how we are not settling for a 20-6 score going into the half. The Texans pass on 1st down and make it clear that they want to score again.

Casey fields the squib kick at the Texan 28.

Pass to Dreesen over the middle good for about 17. Ball at the Texan 46.

Eww, Schaub almost picked off. 2nd down and 10.

Pass to DA complete for 14 and the 1st down. Flag on the play. Roughness/late hit on the Raiders. 15 yards, ball at the Raider 25.

Slaton for 5.

Schaub scrambles for 1. 3rd down and 4 coming up. Timeout Texans. 51 secs. left in the half.

Doh! Schaub throws an INT in the endzone. Raiders ball. Flag on Raiders for unsportsmanlike. Raiders ball at the their own 10.

44 seconds left in the half and the Texans make a big boo boo. INT by Chris Johnson while Schaub was going to Andre Johnson. Raiders get flagged for unsportsmanship, what else is new?

That's an awful, awful playcall on third and four with two timeouts left down deep in Oakland territory.

Dammit!

I didnt like AJs effort on that INT... at least interfere with the catch even if we get called for offensive interference.

Would ANYONE be surprised to see them break one for a deep/long TD here with 14 sec left?

They need to go for the endzone at some time if you want a TD. If you do it with 4 secs left on the clock, there is no element of surprise. Schaub just needed a little more air under the ball, the trajectory was too flat. Andre was expecting to cath the ball at the endzone and perhaps laying out for it. That's why he couldn't come back an interfere on the play. It perhaps cost the team 3 points. If it comes back to haunt us, I'll complain about it.

Overall, I'm happy with the team's performance for the first half.

I would have gone for the first then go for the TD the very next play.

Oh well.

Heh, I asked to you guys and CBS shows a graphic. First safety since December 15, 2002!

EDIT: As I'm typing, Jacoby takes the safety punt to the HOUSE!
