Orlovsky seems like he has the arm, but he doesn't throw a very nice ball. Everything he throws wobbles. I'm not very impressed.

KC moves the ball into FG range.

FG is good as time expires in the half.

Texans 13, Chiefs 3

Not too bad a showing by these Texans...

I would have preferred a shutout for the half. But our db's got exposed in the last minute.

Well, I'll be...

Succup (pron: SUCK up) kicks a 48-yd FG at the gun. At Halftime:

Texans 13, Chefs 3. NOW, you can enjoy your sopping wet popcorn, Chef fans...

Well, it is a bit moist outside. Maybe he does better with a dry ball.

I think he just needs to game to slow down for him in this offense. He looked a bit shaky at times, but there are some tools there.

That could be it. I have been holding my breath every time he releases the ball.
However he has been looking decent. I am curious to see Grossman now.

I don't doubt that he can look better mentally and performance wise, I just don't think he throws a good ball. But Philip Rivers can't throw a spiral and he is effective. So hopefully Orlovsky can be effective.

I thought they could defend the receivere for 5 yards, pretty ticky-tack call on Parsons. Chiefs did a sneak on 4th to keep it going.

Chiefs now near midfield...

Pass complete to the Texan 31

On 4th and 2, Pass is blocked. Texans takeover at about the Chief 24.

Frank Okam snuffs out the fourth-down play. Texans give ground but the Chefs do not score.

Okam knocked down pass on 4th down, he's had some other good pressures, so maybe he's coming around. Texans get it on their own 25 on downs.

On 3rd and 3, pass from O is deflected.

Texans to punt. Chiefs bring it out to their own 25.

I've seen a few glimpses from Okam....probably the most encouraging thing about this game so far.

God, I always forget how sloppy pre-season football is.

Chiefs moving the ball. Now at the Texan 48.

Fumble? Officials give possession to the Texans....

Booth review and the Texans takeover at their own 37.

We really shouldn't have anybody important left in this game with the way the footing is. Just third string and less...

Texans moving the ball...

Nice run by Moats for about 12 yards.

Ball currently at the Chiefs 12 yard line...

Texans to go for the FG. FG is good.

Texans 16, Chiefs 3

Kris Brown chip shot from 30.

It's Texans 16, Chefs 3 as the third quarter approaches its end.
