We keep shooting ourselves in the foot, and that missed FG is about to bite us in the ass.

2 minute warning.

Titans eschew the 49 yard FG to go for it on 4th and 3.....

-----------

Pass is incomplete!

1:55 left in the game but the Titans have 3 timeouts.

Interesting decision not to trot out Bironas-the-Texan-killer there...

Texans have 3rd and 7 at the Titan 32 with 1:32 left in the game.

Fat Albert down.

Titans with one more timeout.

Slaton rushes for a very big 1st down!

Texans kneel away the remaining time.

Final Score: Texans 13, Titans 12

Bonehead call by Fisher saves a bonehead miss by Brown.

Deljuan Robinson played GREAT. Same with Kevin Bentley.

Slaton was terrific all day long against a great run defense.

Andre Johnson ABUSED Cortland Finnegan for 60 minutes.

What a great game, a little gettin even for all the times Titans beat us in the last minute. Won the turn over battle and time of possession, fantastic. What has happened to our defense, not bad at all.

I hope Robinson stays in town during the off-season and they put him on a heavy lifting regiment. He could turn into the big-body run stuffer we've searching for if he builds some more strength.

Cortland Finnegan needs to take his rape shower. Andre Johnson had his way with him today.

Great Game. Andre just reinforced his elite status.

The Only Problem:

We seem to able to move the ball, but just cannot put points on the board. If this team can learn to get in the endzone we might finish off this season 9-7. Might I add possibly tied with the (Cowgirls)

Finnegan also got called for two straight fouls. One for a blow to Schaub's head, and the other one for spearing the receiver. It feels good to have taken everything the bully could give, and give it right back to them. Good hard fought game. And we won.

It's going to be fun watching this one on TiVo again this week.

Fisher said after the game that the winds were pushing down Bironas' FGs in pregame from around 50 yards. He took the blame for the loss nonetheless.

This team sure is a bit more loveable when it's on a 4-game winning streak, isn't it?

I was going to ask how that looked on TV. The crowd was screaming bloody murder for Kubiak to throw the flag.

What a game. I have no voice left. One of the better crowds in my recollection in the past few years. I had fun with some idiot Titan fans sitting near me. They were not thrilled with my calling #10 a bust, and I pointed out that the closest he got to the field was during warmups and that he lost his job to a 37 y/o drunk who was terrible today.

The defense was aided by Collins' erratic arm. He had some open guys and missed badly. Well timed blitzes by the defense. We squandered good field position too often and best game of the year by Omobi. His stop on White on third and short was big. Schaub held tough and stood in with the pressure. Andre freakin Johnson... Enough said and Slaton is tough. Early in the game he moved a pile 8 yards and Alex gibbs was 109 yards on the field clapping and going crazy, I thought he was going to stroke out.

LOVE IT!!! We finally beat the Oilers.

Next, I'm looking forward to when this team becomes disciplined. I think that right now they are dealing with learning the offense; more thinking about the play than executing and having fun.

Angry 'Dre's (man, I love me some Angry 'Dre!) performance has to be re-watched on TiVo in slo-mo if at all possible. For instance, on that big catch late you see something in slo-mo that you most likely missed in real time. Andre makes the catch, actually unbuckles his pants, pulls out his junk and, literally, pi$$es all over Courtland "I Wish I Was a REAL Tough Guy Finnegan.

If you get a chance, take another look at this guy in some replays of his steller performance yesterday. Looks like he had 'bout 3 tackles behind the los, which included busting up some double teams. I dunno if I've ever seen a better effort by a Texan interior DLineman ? Along with Bullman, I sure hope we've got him signed thru one or more future years or have the option to do so because everybody is gonna get a look-see at that performance ?
