Eeesh, deep pass to Washington is broken up but holding on the Pats = 5 yards and an auto 1st down.

Hoyer 1-8 on third down. And 0-1 on fourth. I told you guys that I have no delusions about who Yates is but at least he seems to have a pair of balls.

I am firmly convinced that the Texans are a better team with Yates. They are not a good team with Yates, but they are better.

You may disagree; reasonable people might. But the idea that a guy they sign off the street is anywhere near as effective as BOB's hand-picked starter is absolutely nuts.

What exactly do you expect out of this receiving core? I guess I just don't have it in me to get mad about the mediocre players we trusted in playing mediocre. Hopkins is the only skill position player we have who could start for a decent team. This loss happened in the offseason (like all of our others).

My problem is if Strong is expected to be Robin...then why is he playing so sparingly?

I'm seeing a lot more bad passes than dropped balls. Ideally they'd look to Nuk more and either rely on him to make plays or teach the safeties to shade to his side and then take advantage of that. But if the quarterback is inaccurate and there is no running game to speak of I'm not sure there's much you can do.

The wide receiver/tight end corps sucks, of course (like most every area of this team) but I don't see them as the primary problem.

I expect them to hang onto the ball when it's in their grasp. It's not only the WRs.

Good thing they flexed this game. It's always entertaining to see this shit team embarrassed on national television. It's too bad that McNair doesn't have any shame.

Even Lechler sucks tonight. D is holding this thing within range but that will likely change soon since the O and STs can't do jack shite.
