And if we don't offer him an enticing deal (which we won't and shouldn't it would seem), you know one or more of the other 31 teams will - it's just like the Draft, it only takes one team to offer a player the chance to hit the jackpot.
On the plus side re our edge-rush, after last night Mercilus now has 6 sacks and he's definitely a weapon in our nickel though I guess the verdict is still out on him in run defense ?
