I think you mean AA.

I'm a believer in Altuve, Martinez and Paredes. I'm optimistic about Shaefer. If Bogusevic is figuring things out the lineup will not be the cause of their being a last place team again next year.

Niners bring the 2nd half kickoff back to their 22. (Must've been a penalty cause they are starting at their 12)

Hunter for about 12. 1st down.

Hunter for 3.

Kaepernick pressured throws it away. 3rd and 7 coming up.

Pass off the hands of Johnson inc. Niners have to punt.

Keo brings the punt back to the Texan 30.

Tate for 2 but flag on the Texans for holding. Backs it up 10. 1st and 20.

Leinart's pass is inc to JJ.

Tate for 7 tough yards. Makes it 3rd and 13.

Dump to Tate only gets 3 so Texans have to punt.

Niners bring the punt back to their 29. Niners ball.

KILT mentioned that Leinart stunk it up in practice this week. Don't know any details. They talked as if everybody just knew it. FWIW.

Dump pass to Long gets about 8 or 9. 2nd and 1 coming up.

Dixon gets the one for the 1st down.

Dixon gets 1.

Oy, pass gets deflected and nearly INT"ed by Jamison but falls inc. 3rd and 9 coming up.

Dump pass comes up short. Niners have to punt.

Punt goes into the endzone. Texans ball at their 20.

He's going to play first base again next year and drive in as many runs as the guys in front of him allow. I have no idea why he gets savaged so. It's not his fault Drayton gave him a big contract. His contract wouldn't look that out of place on a decent team like, say, the Cardinals. But on Kansas City South it certainly stands out. He was brought to Houston to drive in runs and that's what he's done. It's not his fault the team blows and the old owner is a moron and the new one wants to dramatically slash the payroll.

Tate for maybe 1.

Leinart's pass to JJ gets 9 and the 1st down.

Obie for no gain. 2nd and 10 coming up.

Pass over the middle to Casey gets nice gainer. Ball at the Niner 47.

Pass to Dreessen gets 11.

Tate for a couple of tough yards.

Pass to Dreessen goes for about 4. 3rd and 4 coming up.

Pass is off Tate's hands. Makes it 4th and 4 and the Texans will go for the FG.

Rackers 47-yarder is good.

Texans 27, Niners 7

Leinart looked pretty damn good on that series. But he didn't get any help from anyone.

He gets savaged because his production, RBI, Avg., HR's etc. is way down... And yes, they're stuck with him..

Leinart didn't look that bad considering Tate and the OL were missing blocks all over the place.

His production is down, certainly. He's had two straight years with miserable starts. But he is not the reason that the team blows. He actually plays a decent first base. Please know that I'd be happy to see Hinze or Wallace or whoever there instead but Carlos is all ours this year and next.

Niners bring the kickoff back to their 19.

Dump pass to the back is stopped cold by Reed. Flag on Niners for hands to the face is declined. 2nd and 12 coming up.

Hunter for about 5. 3rd and 7 coming up.

Dump pass over the middle gets the 1st down at the Niner 35.

Hunter for maybe 2. 2nd and 8 coming up.

Kaepernick, pressured, can't find a receiver and throws it away. 3rd and 8 coming up.

Deep pass downfield goes over everyone. Niners to punt.

Punt is downed inside the Texan 5.

Carlos Lee 12 HRs in 529 PAs, a .737 OPS for $18.5 million.
J.D. Martinez 5 HRs in 102 PAs, an .891 OPS for $440K.

The Texans have the worst return game I have ever seen in my life.

You can see the fog clearly now. Good thing few people with upper deck tickets bothered to show.

I am, I admit it.

And Bob, sure, I know what JD has done. It's impressive and I'm really excited for him. And I know what everyone makes. But what do you want to do? The team has to pay Carlos this year and next. What's your point? That they shouldn't have signed him at that contract? No, they shouldn't have. Cardinals fans are going to be bitching about Holliday's contract here before too long.

Sometimes you overpay for a guy you think you need. Antonio Smith, please pick up the white courtesy phone, Antonio Smith...
