Yes, but Miami has also been the starting point for many an upsurge in Texan fortunes in years past. We've had their number.

Next Sunday will say a lot about this team. If they come out fired up, they might still salvage the season. If they curl into a ball, 2-14 is a realistic prospect.

I lost sleep because of this game but man, there were a lot of bright spots to this game.

I think Sage is a much better quarterback. Rolling coverages to AJ didn't matter!!!!

Mario terrorized Payton all day

Amobe was an inside presence

The d backs made plays.

We ran the ball well, give Slaton some time

Gents, we were literally 2 plays away from blowing the Colts out.

Is it better to be lucky than good. It may be time we are good.

Shoulda coulda woulda may be closer than ever.

It is time to pledge you allegiance to thee us Texans. Jump on or jump off DIE HARD!!!!!!!

Yeah, feel a lot better today. If we dominated both sides of line every game like we did yesterday, we'd be a pretty good team. hope we continue to see that, the wins will follow.

If we can stuff the run and stop the short pass, we win against Miami. That would build a ton of confidence because Miami's run game is pretty dominating at this point.

I'm saying we win.

I predict the Texans win against Miami in a fairly decisive manner.

You never know what will happen, until it happens. Sage totally gave the game away at the end. Up until then, the team, including Sage, had played very well. How improbable was that sequence of events? What if Matt hadn't gotten sick? Would he have played well enough to win? I think so.

I think the Texans are going to get after Miami. I think they will win. I don't think there will be another crazy-assed two or three plays that will undo the whole game. Good things and bad things seem to come in waves. I think the
bad wave for the Texans should be done. But, you never know.

I simply can't believe just how close this 0-4 team was to being 2-2.

Or even 3-1. The Titans outplayed us, but they still left us in the game.
Atleast the offense is finally playing some decent football. That's 2 weeks in a row that they've been downright impressive, on balance.

The cool part about this week? Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, on the team has something to prove. I bet you get 100% effort from all 3 aspects of our game...not to mention the coaching staff.

How'd you like to play against that?

We go 0 and 5, it's coaching.

Then what do we do? Go after 75 year old Schottenheimer?

Actually, I loved the effort from last week. That was the first game so far this season where everyone was noticeably playing hard, aggressive, and seemed to have a mission. For me, that's what's so hard about the loss. They DESERVED to win and if wasn't for 3 bonehead plays by one player and maybe a few boneheaded calls by the coaches in the last few drives, they GET the win. The effort was there and if they bring that level of effort every week they'll get some Ws and become a good team.

A key stop (by our defence) at the end of the game would be really nice every once in a while.
