A few points to make .

Isn't it nice to have 2 real safeties in the game at the same time?

Mario had a throwaway quote that hit me.

“I came out at halftime, and I told (defensive line coach) Jethro (Franklin) instead of read and go, I was going and read, and I did,” Williams said. “It was an adrenalin rush. When I came to the bench, everybody was talking about it. That made me feel good.”

They are coaching the read 1st for the DL as we expected, and that is going against the strengths if this line. You draft penetrators and then ask them to read 1st? I say way to go Mario, just go then read. BTW if the rest of team tackled like Mario, Dunta and Demeco then we would not be having the coaches vs players debate.

Lastly, Do any of you think Kubiak will allow Richard Smith to run the more aggressive defense the rest of the season?
