The 2-1 Houston Texans host the Seattle Seahawks (3-0) this Sunday, noon at Reliant Stadium in a Week 4 matchup. Denver and Seattle are currently rated as the top teams in the NFL at the moment in many of the power rankings. Seattle is coming off a 45-17 victory over the Jags. The Texans are coming off a 30-9 loss to the Ravens and could right a few wrongs with a victory.
Bye weeks start this week with Green Bay and Carolina not playing. TV = FOX (channel 26 local), noon Sunday Announcers = Chris Myers, Tim Ryan The line = Seahawks by 2.5 to 3 |

Fortunately, Dallas is at San Diego for one of the late games so the Texans will probably get the early slot for most Texas viewers and then the late viewers will either see the Cowboys/Chargers or Broncos/Eagles.

It could be a close game as the line expects.
Seahawks haven't been real dominant on the road, including with Carolina in week 1 of this year. Seahawks have been mostly a ground and pound team this year so, if we can stop their running game with our defense, and perhaps help us win the turnover battle then we got a chance. Then if our offense can be consistent, no bad turnovers, keep out of negative plays against a very good defense, trying to be positive on this. Seattle does have two good CB, so our passing will have to be very accurate and run some new groupings perhaps to get guys open. ST, just make good tackles and should be ok. This would be a good win to show Texans can play with the big boys. |

My brain tells me otherwise, but my gut tells me the Texans are going to win this game. I just have that feeling they're going to play a solid game and pull it out.

I have faith that the Seahawks are the extreme home/road Jeckyl/Hyde of the NFL. Whether that makes them vulnerable enough for the Texans to beat them is still an open question but I'd give the Texans no chance if the game were in Washington. The noon start is also going to seem like a 10 a.m. start for them. Makes sense to try to jump on them early while they are half asleep.

Saw a report that Andre was good to go.
What happened to Dobbins? Don't recall that one.

Crap, questionable throw in coverage, bobbled and int when looked like a for sure score. Maybe defense gets it right back.
