Default Drunk Jerry Jones

Too funny.
Quote:
Jerry Jones: Romo was a miracle.
Other guy: It was a miracle, wasn't it?
JJ: He almost never got in, and he almost was gone. Tebow would never…
Different other guy: What if you were the Jaguars or — would you just, just draft him and sell f***ing jerseys?
JJ: That's the only reason I brought in Bill Parcells. ...

The transcript alone doesn't do this justice. Play the video, only like a minute long.

Nice Job Jerry, you hired Bill Parcells just to get a new stadium? Maybe Goodell will make him the first owner to be suspended for a few games.

I only hope Jerry Jones and his new stadium fall on their a**es. I have too many relatives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area who like to lord it over us poor south Texans.

See, I think everything on this video is either (a) basically true (Romo was a miracle and Tebow wouldn't get on the field for the Cowboys) or (b) typical guys talking in a bar and the BS that generally goes along with it. I think the media coverage of it has been substantially overblown. However, the problem I have with it is the bigger picture. It's crap like this that ensures that if any of us ever happen to run into anyone in the Texans organization (players, coaches, front office, etc.) in a social setting, you will get nothing more than BS boilerplate from them. This kind of thing just further promotes distrust and makes it that much harder for anyone in the public eye to ever put their guard down. Jones tried to act like a regular guy at a bar for 10 minutes and then had to deal with all this. I guarantee you he won't make that mistake again and many others will learn from his lesson. A few laughs at him come at the expense that future info. will be that much harder to come by.

So who really cares what Jerry Jones thinks. I could care less about any info that Jerry Joness spouts off with.
