Browns go 3 and out and have to punt.

JJ returns and fumbles. Molden recovers.

Texans ball at their own 26.

Nice heads up play to keep the ball after Jones fumbled.

A nice time consuming drive ending with a TD would be nice.

Jeez, Texans have two shots to get one yard and come up short. Texans to punt.

-------------

Clevelands ball at their 30.

With the exception of 1 decent return, the Texans coverage teams have done a good job on Cribbs.

Defense is playing their best game in weeks as well. And yet, I'm still nervous.

Wow, sloppy play on both sides.

Cleveland still driving 1st and 10 @ the Texan 40 yard line.

Another illegal contact called on Texans. Browns 1st and 10 at the Texan 35.

Defense is killing itself with these penalties. Can't give the Cleveland offense so many chances. Cleveland wouldn't be advancing the ball if it weren't for the Texans defensive penalties.

Apparently the refs decided they weren't getting enough TV time. Throwing ticky-tack flags on every play and keeping Cleveland's drive alive.

Browns have 4th and 10 and decide to go for it....

Edwards catches the pass and lunges for 1st down.

----------

Browns have another 4th down and elect to kick the FG. FG is no good!

Texans ball.

I had read and heard about Edwards drops. I didn't think he was that bad. Other than that one 4th down play for the 1st, he doesn't seem to make the effort.

Rosencopter strikes! INT by the Browns.

Cleveland's ball already in FG range.

Rosenschaub and his timing for INTs is remarkable.

Just as I'm complaining about Rosenschaub, the Browns put it on the ground and Texans recover.

The slopfest continues. Browns fumble, Adibi recovers!

------------

Texans have 3rd and 5 at midfield. 4:47 left in the game.

1st down Texans.

As much as Rosenchopper and the offense are trying to give this game away, the defense just won't let them.

Never thought I'd write that.

Texans have to punt. Touchback.

Browns takeover at their own 20. About 3 mins left in the game.

Reeves with the INT! Texans ball at the 22.

--------

Slaton 17 yards to the 5. ~2 minutes left...

I guess the Browns just decided they wanted to be more inept than the Texans today.

Texans run out the clock. Final score:

Texans 16, Browns 6

We're back!

It wasn't that the Texans looked so good today, it was just the Browns stunk it up worse than we did. Not exactly heartwarming, but a win is a win is a win.

My thought exactly. The Browns just stunk up the joint. I'll take the win. At some point they had win an ugly one.
