I don't know why we need another allen. I think McCain is superior to anyone we find on the streets (and especially to Ball). And then we have a 2nd rounder in Harris who must have slept with Kubiak's wife they seem so determined to keep him off the field.

Brandon Brooks has a way to go. Very dissapointed in his Holding and lack of technique...Very impressed with LeStar Jean & would like to see him on the field with AJ & Keshawn Martin. Was also happy to see James Casey play well & improve in his run blocking. T. Holliday has to make the roster now. At CB, I'm warming to B. Harris. He could overtake McCain perhaps.

The best news is it seems as if there were no major injuries. I hope we can say the same about the next two games and then we're ready for the real thing.

I guess Posey is so good he's being saved as a secret weapon to use once regular season begins, or maybe even wait till we get into the playoffs.

Lestar and Keyshawn have looked pretty good, so not really worried about WR position this upcoming season.

OL, still not sure about.

TJ, would like to see him get more accuracy and touch on his throws, but he is maturing as a reasonable backup.

DL, anybody noticed how Krick is doing?

I went back and rewatched the game and a few things stuck out to me:

1. On the play where K Martin is interfered with, he showed me something. Instead of hopping up and down and making a throw-the-flag gesture, he just calmly looked at the ref with body language and face saying "WTF!" And he got the call. This will work a whole lot better than trying to show-up a ref... They say he's a quiet type, all business like AJ so, IMO, he's looking like a really good pick character-wise so far. I don't think we've really seen his explosiveness or game-changing ability that they talk about, yet.....

2. Early 2nd quarter, Cushing gets roughed up. From then on out, you can see him after every play: he puts his hands on his hips, looks at the ground slightly bent over and gets ready for the next play. You could tell he was hurtin'. He does this for several plays.... at one point, I think someone asked him if he was OK and you can see him nod his head. He's a tough son-of-a-gun but man, they need him for 16 games this year.

3. Dobbins has been outstanding. I want to see him on the field a lot this year.
