Wow! Casey. No way I thought he would wind up with the Texans. They must have thought him too good to pass up, because I'm pretty sure they would have expected to take a running back by the 5th round. I had Jennings in the 3rd round in mocks where he was available.

What the hell, let's have Barwin convert back to TE too.

He was listed at 71 on Gosselin's top 100. I think Rick Smith looked at his board and saw value. However, Ingram was rated even higher and is younger so he has more upside but there are injury concerns.

A nice value pick for sure, but are the Texans really going to carry four TE's on the roster?

I'd be a lot happier about this pick if I understood the plan the team has for RB this season. I just can't put faith in Chris Brown being that backup to Slaton. Nope.

I don't think so. But, of our potential big free agents in the next few years, Daniels would be the one that I am not crazy about paying megabucks for. If they can develop someone to replace him and hang onto our other guys, I can deal.

I'm wondering if they have a possible deal in place to trade Daniels for a RB...??? Either that, or they're intenting is to bulk up Hill for backup T??? They think they need to bulk up special teams??? Hell, I have no idea...

This has officially become a head-scratcher second day draft...

As of pick 156, still available rb's are Jennings, Ringer, Peerman, Ian Johnson, Kory Sheets, Devin Moore, James Davis, & Javaris Williams. Hope there's not a big run before we get to pick again.

I can't think of a team that needs a TE that hasn't already fill that position. I was thinking Eagles, but they took a TE right after us. The Gaints maybe???

Well, it looks like taking Casey was a real BPA pick. Also, there's still hope for a RB before we are through. It would have been nice to get a head hunter. Is Michael Hamlin still available at SS?

I am wondering if they are going to try and work with Hill as an OL prospect. I dont see us keeping 4 TEs, but who knows. I do like the Casey pick, and he may be another OD. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Well, they already have two Arkansas sides of beef on the right side, not to mention hog Peters on the left.

Titans take Javon Ringer. I guess we're only team that does not feel the need to have good young depth at RB.
