Pretty good stuff although I think the mixup with Redskins may have been a little encouraged.....

Hopkins can scoot. He's quicker than I thought he was....

JJ Watt doesn't have arms. Those would be Christmas hams hanging off his shoulders.....

Texans premier for Hard Knocks drew 826,000 viewers, up 34 percent from Falcons 617,000 in 2014. Best opener since Jets 870,000 in 2010.

Just finished 1st episode. Thought it was pretty cool.

Gotta admit, it makes me a bit nervous watching guys like Watt and Hopkins throw their bodies around in practice....

It was awesome having the Texans on this thing, and I think it ultimately is good for the organization's visibility. I can't think of a better season to date for the team to be featured given the mix of coach and player personalities.

Disappointed we haven't seen more inside the offices and off the field, though I know this is just the first episode. Thought there would be more tracking of the QB battle. Not surprised we haven't seen more on Foster's injury... the Texans are very guarded here and really health matters are and should be as private as Foster would want them to be.

I think we have seen a perfectly proportionate amount of Rick Smith.

McNair comes across like he always does - a clueless, insincere neck. It is incredibly painful for me to watch, and that's in quite small doses. At least the HK guys don't seem cruel enough to subject me to very much Rick Smith. And I loved the fact that he was folded up in an uncomfortable chair recalcitrant pupil style in front of BOB, listening and (as always) not contributing anything.

Certainly heard plenty f bombs out of coach during HK Reminded me of my high school sports days. I know preseason isn't real football but can't wait.

What the hell, he's like 80 years old, a cancer survivor.

What does his age or his medical history have to do with his sincerity?

There is supposed to be a little bit more of the Khari Lee impression of OB on Hard Knocks tonight. That is funny stuff, OB looked like he was about to bust a gut he was laughing so hard.

Tonight's episode should be interesting. Supposedly, they got footage of the meeting in the QB room when OB told Hoyer he was the first #1.

For those that do not have HBO, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial of HBONow and catch the previous and remaining episodes. To sign up, you have to download the mobile app to your phone or tablet, and then you can watch on the mobile device or PC. This is what I did. I plan to cancel shortly before the trial ends.
