Jennings sort of reminded me of Brandon Jacobs. Remember, Jacobs went to Auburn before going to S. Ill because of Brown and Williams at Auburn. Then I went to the tale of the tape.

Jacobs 6'4" 267lbs.....4.56-40....4.49 - Shuttle.....7.54 - Cone...9'10" - Jump
Jennings 6'1" 231lbs...4.62-40....4.20 - Shuttle.... 6.86 - Cone...10'0" - Jump

Basically, Jacobs is larger and faster to break long runs. Jennings is more agile and is more likely to make people miss in the hole, where Jacobs simply runs them over.

I'm not sold on Jennings being a great short yardage back. However, he could be a good strong runner to wear down a defense for Slaton. I hate using a 2nd round pick on a guy who isn't a threat to score whenever he touches the ball. That 4.62 is a bit of a concern, especially when Andre Brown is in this draft and runs a 4.49 at roughly the same size. Remember that Brandon Jacobs was a 4th round pick, but his draft was probably more talented.
