I hadn't realized Daniels and Johnson had the most yards in NFL history for WR-TE pair. Congrats to OD. And as we know the 06 draft was a good one looking back after 3 years.

I disagree with you description of our '06 Draft as a "good one", but rather it was a "great one".
Mario, DeMeco, Winston, & OD. And least we forget, we had also drafted in Charles Spencer what looked to be our "franchise LT". Who knows how good he might have become, we can only speculate about that since his career was cut short with the severe injury he suffered, but early reports seemed to suggest a better NFL prospect than our current LT who we expended a 1st round pick on vs a mere third-rounder for Spencer.
ALL in all it was quite a job of picking players by Kubiak and then GM Casserly in what was a very rich Draft for the Texans.

Anderson was also drafted in '06 and has been a solid contributor for us - especially for a 7th rounder.

as mentioned above this is great for OD but also means he'll most likely be looking for more $

I don't think him going will change anything. His agent would have already used the fact that he was named an alternate as reason for more money. The fact that he actually gets to go becuase of injuries won't increase his price tag any more than his production on the field the last few seasons already did.
