Preseason is just dreadful. Worse every year. Tough to tell much of anything.

Tytus wasn’t terrible, sad to say I had been expecting worse?

Pass rush D is going to be an issue if any part of Clooney-Watt-Mercilus isn’t playing.

Coutee needs a do-over on this game. The muffed punt and early departure due to what now seems to be an insignificant injury was not inspiring.

Yep, seems like starters get less and less playing time every year for fear of injury and then we spend most of September waiting for the team to gel/build chemistry....

Didn't think we would see 4 quarters of Joe Webb....

Next up is Detroit at home on a Saturday night.

Preseason is totally pointless. Around the league rookie QBs who have a chance to start played a single series. I get the risk of injury, but you still have to get ready for the games. Last season we kept Watson off the field despite his limited reps and long injury layoff, and he looked terrible in week 1. We gave away 1/16 of the incredibly short season. It seems the aversion to playing in preseason has gone way past the tipping point and is completely counter productive.

I agree with the pointless to watch sentiments. And all made valid points, ankle sprain can minor, or they can be significant. So until we know more on Coutee's prognosis, which we will not know because the teams keep these so secret.
