If they intend to keep Hoyer, then they won't draft a QB but I would rather release or trade him and use the cap savings to bring back Jared Crick.

As far as Hackenberg, I'm simply responding to the mutual admiration
O'Brien and Hackenberg have for each other and the belief he will flourish here better than anywhere else.

You don't want someone who directly competes against Ossie this year but someone who can step in if he gets injured or falters. I don't see last year's starter as being the guy for that.
