Well, we had two games to convince ourselves that Fitz doesn't suck ass. But he does and we all knew it.

Beyond that, though, this is a total ass raping by a bad, bad team. A total breakdown in every phase of the game.

Also, sadly, Cushing is not nearly the player he was.

The ensuing kickoff is a touchback. Texan's ball at their 20.

Pass to AJ nearly INT'ed but inc.

Pass goes for 5 yards. 3rd and 5 coming up.

Fitz scrambles for 7 and the 1st down.

Deep pass to Hopkins is caught for a big gainer. Ball at the Giant 19 yard line.

Pass over the middle to AJ good for 7.

AJ gets mugged in the end zone. PI on the Giants. Ball at the 1. 1st and goal.

Blue slips for no gain. 2nd and goal coming up.

Fitz pressured, can't find a receiver and throws it away, inc. 3rd and goal coming up.

Fitz scrambles up the gut for the TD.

Giants 30, Texans 17

2 minutes left in the game.

Pass to Graham gets about 10. A Giant (Moore) injured on the play. Injury timeout.

Short pass to Graham gets 3.

Pass complete to D Johnson at midfield.

Spike by Fitz with 13 seconds left.

Pass to Grimes goes for 20 as time runs out.

And that's what happens when the team plays shitty. We have to rely on Fitzpatrick, and bad things happen. Gonna be a roller coaster year.

Fitz is not a championship quarterback. The Texans have to work Time of Possession and not make mistakes in order to win. At best, the Texans are a .500 club but I still think the Giants are a better defense than what we faced with the Skins and the Raiders.
