now, there is definitely a chance that the colts take one of the game against the texans, but y'all are talking like they are one of the best teams in the nfl. sure they have a good record, but they are not some juggernaught. and looking at their win in regulation and saying that the texans couldn't that, and somehow saying that is a reason for concern is just not using your brain. first, the lions traditionally play well on thanksgiving. second, our kicker missed a fg that should have ended it in regulation. third, the texans were coming off less than 4 days rest from an overtime game and were the first team in nfl history to win two games in those circumstances.
so while the colts may well win a game against the texans, but let's hold off the doom and gloom for a little bit. |

The Colts have won a *lot* of close games this year which can lead to believing a) they aren't as good as their record or b) they know how to win the close ones. I think both sentences are probably true and the thing the Texans ought to try to do is open up with some points early to try to take them out of the game.

Tania Ganguli of the Houston Chronicle just tweeted:
#Texans CB Brice McCain had surgery this morning to repair his broken foot. He'll be out about 6 weeks, per a person familiar w/injury. — Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) December 3, 2012 BUMMER! Update - In his presser, Kubiak said he is designated to return, but that is an 8 wk. deal. John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL) tweeted: With CB Brice McCain designated 2 return, he must miss 6 weeks and then practice for 2 more weeks. That means he could return for Super Bowl

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was credited with an extra sack in Sunday’s 24-10 victory against Tennessee.
Titans quarterback Jake Locker fumbled, and it was originally ruled a team sack. The Texans protested to Elias Sports Bureau, and after reviewing the tape, Elias agreed with the Texans. Watt now has 16 ˝ sacks for the season. Early in the season, Elias took away a Watt sack against Miami, so it all evened out. In a conference call with Houston media today, Patriots coach Bill Belichick called Watt the league’s defensive player of the year. http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexans...-another-sack/ |
