Default What's the Texans Biggest Question Mark for 08?

Anybody?

If someone knows enough options for a poll, they can set one up.

To me the our single biggest issue will be the same as it was last year....turnovers. Say what you want about Petey and the rest of the secondary, the pass rush, the running game, the run defense, etc but if we turn the ball over less (and create a few more for ourselves) last year then we probably would have made the playoffs LAST year.

The schedule should be tough, but in today's NFL it will probably look a lot different at the end of the year. I think we've improved over last year, even if it's only a marginal improvement a better +/- on turnovers should lead to a good year.

Run defense.

With the spate of RB we face this year we have to be able to stop the run to win games.

winning division games. If we go .500 in the division last year we make the playoffs.

The secondary has me plenty scared for this year. I don't think there are many teams in the league for which either CC Brown or Jacque Reeves would start. Long-term, I think the prognosis for the secondary is much better with the hopefully full-speed return of Dunta by next year and development of Molden, although I think CC Brown is still such a weak link that I can't believe we haven't tried harder to find an able replacement.

as much talk there is about the secondary. I am just as concerned with our ability to stop the run. Like others have said I think we will have the potential to score some points, but if teams can keep our WR's out of the game by keeping them off the field it won't do any good.

I'll say it again though, turnovers will have more to do with our success or failure than anything else.

Apparently it is everyone on defense except for Mario Williams and Ryans.
