Defense was noticeably relaxed in the second half. Then turned it up a bit toward the end.

Who cares about the 2nd half? The game was over and this is not the BCS where style points count.
This game told us nothing of importance. The Texans are significantly more talented than the colts without manning and they pounded them. The colts paid the price for constructing their team around manning and having a terrible backup plan. I am guessing they will still take one stinker after the reat years this team has had, but really dumb to enter the year with a 35 year old QB with a recent neck surgery and curtis painter as the backup. Next week should say a lot more. A road game against a slightly better team and a tough stretch looming that makes it almost must win. But there is nothing disgusting about a 27 point win in the NFL. |
