As for trading Mario, one other thought... what if he doesn't want to come back to Houston? He can walk away as a free agent while the Texans get nada (though I suppose the Texans might get a compensatory pick depending on other factors). But, if this is a runaway train in the making, then yeah I definitely think the Texans should listen for offers.

A high pick - plus the added 2012 cap room by not carrying a newly signed Mario - could fuel long-term success if Mario is not destined for 3-4 greatness as a Texan.
