looks like Pats have been doing this for their guys coming off injuries for past several years. as soon as ready to play, practice, they can come off PUP as long as its before final 53 man cut down in early Sept.

I hear the guys work out all year and are in better shape entering camp now, so, as long as don't run down, the better shape in the better, takes reps to get in top football hitting shape doesn't it. Perhaps the new practice schedule will help, need to try something to prevent all the injuries. Maybe an emphasis on take care of each other rather than play as hard as you can in practice will help. I thought practicing under the bubble helped keep off some of the severe heat as well.
