Default The Titans are really bad

0-6 and 52-0 bad as I watch.

The last two weeks they appear to have completely quit on the season (if not Fisher as coach). Kerry Collins has gone from "better than you think" to "worse than you thought possible."

And the Jags aren't much better. Really our division is a bunch of broke teams outside of the Colts.

I'm not a VY lover, and lord knows I despise the Titans, but it's inexcusable for Fisher not to be playing him. Especially in a game like today where Collins couldn't do squat and it may be beneficial to have a QB who can run with the conditions they were playing in. I don't get it. He must really suck or have pissed off Fisher beyond repair.

I'm thinking Fish didn't want him in the first place, doesn't like his game, may not like him personally and pretty much expects to be gone (Fish) after the season, so he isn't about to play VY. The only way VY plays IMO is if Dud orders Fish to play him and even then I doubt he does it.

I think VY is far more likely to be gone after the season than Fisher. Fisher is almost assured of being back even with this year's collapse. I believe VY is due a big roster bonus that almost assures he gets cut.

If Fisher is such a good coach and has almost everyone back from last year, why 0-6, just goes to show - what ? lots of equality in the league, any coach is as good as his players, .. anyways, it is great to see this happen to Titans and Fisher as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a Fisher Fan. On Vy, I guess he has exceptional physical talent, needs to mature. hope he makes it someday, likely not for Titans or Fisher.

I don't think Fisher is great, just that he will be around past this year.

Good to see embarassing defeats have followed Bud and that franchise to Tennessee. That one was on par with the beating the Glanville-led Oilers took in Cinci way back when.

The Titans have lost several key players over the last few years. Hayneworth, Odom, Starks, Laboy, even Pacman...and some of their starters are starting to get old. It shouldn't have been hard to see a big drop off. I don't think anyone would have predicted they would be this bad.

One thing to remember about the beat down from Sunday. The Titans were missing both starting CB's, and I think one of their safeties. They had two or three rookies starting who normally wouldn't in the secondary. That doesn't excuse the beating they took or the piss poor offense though.

And don't forget the assistant coaches that have left. That hurts too.

whatever the reason or excuses, the result is fantastic. Like they say, whatever goes up, must come down. They might also have some players in clubhouse upset or split on the best player at QB???, isn't starting or getting a chance. not saying he's good, just might be current QB really doing bad.

I think VY and Fisher will both be gone after this year. It will be interesting to see if Jerry Jones goes after Fisher or Shanahan.

As for Young, he seems ideally suited for a Wildcat offense and he'll be plenty fresh after two years off from major action. VY needs to find a team that wants to run the Wildcat and I think he can have some success. Any other scheme and he's a below-average quarterback.

All that can explain a tough road loss or a defeat, or even a bunch of defeats. On Sunday an entire team quit. Effort has nothing to do with injuries, defections, or anything else mentioned. That's a team with no intention of turning things around.

Much more interesting to me if, in the event Kubiak flops this year, McNair offers Fisher an opportunity to return to Houston ?
