To be fair, it sounds like, from his quote, that he didn't know the hernia was the root cause of his problems until his visit to the specialist in St. Louis. If that visit was recently, then this probably wasn't something that could have been found before OTAs/minicamps this year.
the misdiagnosis, or incorrect diagnosis has been something that has been a problem for the texans for a long time. they need to fix this
