I am not understanding this at all. The games have been played, the interviews conducted, the work-outs ran, and measurements taken. There has been no news on medical problems and his name was not associated with any rumors.
Now, after being considered a top 5 pick for the last 5 months, he's now a 2nd round pick? I can't help but wonder if there is "insider" information that sources know but aren't talking about - but merely stating that he will not be a top pick. Quentin Groves fell to the 2nd round last year after being diagnosed with W-P-W and requiring an ablation. It's not that big of a deal, but because it was a heart condition, it scared off enough GMs. I have compared Brown to Suggs and Freeney, but perhaps LaMarr Woodley would be a better example. A productive college player who should be drafted in the 1st round, but may slip to the 2nd round because of the notion that he's undersized. I wonder if the Falcons would like a do-over or if they would still take Jamaal Anderson with the #8 pick, while Woodley was on the board.
