Default Official Texans vs. Titans Game Thread, 10/30/2022

The 4-2 Tennessee Titans come to town this Sunday to take on the 1-4-1 Texans in an afternoon game on CBS. The Titans beat the Colts last week for the second time this year 19-10 on the strength of a pick 6 and four Randy Bullock FGs - they had no offensive TDs. RB Derrick Henry was 30/128, 4.3 avg. in the game. Expect to see a lot of Henry as QB Ryan Tannehill is listed as questionable for the upcoming game. If Tannehill can't go, rookie Malik Willis (Liberty) will probably get the nod. WR Robert Woods (20/230, 1 TD) is the goto receiver in the Titan offense but I'm expecting a total ground and pound against the poor Texan run defense. The Titan defense is rated 29th vs. the pass (yds/att) and 16th vs. the run (ypc).

The Texans need to address their weaknesses against the run if they hope to have a chance in this one. Offensively, they could have success in the passing game but will have to play a clean game and have a good time of possession to keep their defense on the bench. Otherwise, the defense will get worn out by the 4th qtr and it will be a repeat of last week's Raider game.

Texans will have to do a quick turn around after the game for Thursday night football when the badass Philadelphia Eagles come to town.
