NFL Week 7 finds the 4-2 Texans visiting the 4-2 Denver Broncos is a MNF game. The Broncos started off 4-0 but have recently lost 2 in a row - one at home to Atlanta and most recently to San Diego in a TNF game on the road. QB Trevor Siemian is nursing a sore left shoulder but expected to start. Siemian is in the middle of the pack with a 92.4 rating and has thrown for 1054 yds at a 64.9% clip with 7 TDs and 3 INTs. Denver's struggling offense will turn to RB's CJ Anderson and Devontae Booker as well as to top receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to pick up the pace. The Denver defense has several stars and is currently ranked 4th in yds/gm and 8th in pts./gm. (The Texan defense is 7th and 12th, respectively).
The Texans hope to build off of last Sunday night's 26-23 OT win over the Colts. Giving QB Brock Osweiler time to throw and having some blitz-beating plays available should be at the top of their game plan list as you can bet DC Wade Phillips will have his troops coming after him....
