Not only was there talk that Bud wanted him and his front office didn't, but he also put out a media ultimatum of sorts by saying "There is no reason our front office guys can't get him." So he managed to screw over both his QBs (which really means he has none), his new front office, and there FA plans all because he wanted a new toy.
And Jim Harbaugh did the same thing in SF. I wonder if all of those SF guys will run through walls for him after he declared his support for Smith publicly and then privately became the "mystery" team going after Manning. I also wonder how it affects the confidence of the no confidence QB that he managed to prop up with good coaching last year.
