John Madden Retires

Love him or hate him, John Madden is putting his Maddencruiser in mothballs and calling it a career. Word is that Cris Collinsworth will be his replacement opposite Al Michaels in the Sunday Night booth. I don't believe Madden ever did a Texans game because we were never on MNF or SNF at the time Madden had those jobs.

He might be a year or two past his prime but at least he didn't stay around after he was blatantly unintelligible the way Pat Summerall did. Or a certain Astros broadcaster I could mention.
