I see the defense a little bit like building a hot rod. The mechanic(s) start off with the motor and build it up. Add one of these, add one of those. Tweak this, tweak that and then start it up. Rev it up and see if it's running right. Tweak some more. Fret about one thing, worry about another... Wonder if it will fail but you really won't know until you get it out on the track and open it up....

I think that's what happened yesterday. The defense finally opened it up, consequences be damned. If there is a breakdown, then hey, you fix it.... This particular jalopy just took a long time to get out of the garage... We'll see...
