Default Possible Watson Deals

Now that the Watson trade demand is more official than it was a few days ago, I started looking at Miami's and NYJ's potential offerings.

Starting with Miami, if they were to offer Tua, Xavien Howard, #3, #18 and both of their 2nd rounders, I think the Texans should take it. Maybe you can get something else out of next year's draft, but Tua would be given a shot to see if he can be the QB and Howard is an all-pro CB.

I went to Fanspeak and decided to draft as Miami for the first couple of rounds, pretending the picks belonged to HOU.

I flipped #3 to Detroit so they could take a QB for #7, their 2nd rounder and 3rd rounder.

This is the haul for the Texans...

7: R1 P7 CB Patrick Surtain II - Alabama (now you have 2 top CBs)
18: R1 P18 WR Jaylen Waddle - Alabama
36: R2 P4 TE Kyle Pitts - Florida (doubt he drops to the 2nd...)
41: R2 P9 RB Najee Harris - Alabama (our version of Derrick Henry)
50: R2 P18 G Wyatt Davis - Ohio State (best non-C OL available)
72: R3 P3 LB Nick Bolton - Missouri (best LB/DL available)
81: R3 P8 S Trevon Moehrig - TCU (best LB/DB available)

With one trade and one draft (through 3 rounds), they have significantly upgraded the secondary and offense (while taking a hit at QB).
